Bure may be forced to retire

No matter how hard he tries, it looks increasingly likely that New York Rangers star winger Pavel Bure will miss the 2003-04 season because of continued knee problems.
Worse still, one of the most electrifying players of the past 12 years might be finished at 32 if he can't make any further recovery from his latest knee injuries suffered last season.
"Pavel is facing a very uncertain future right now," Bure's agent, Mike Gillis, told the Vancouver Province.
