One guy leads NASCAR with five wins but ranks only eighth in the points race. Another has only one win but ranks first. Is something wrong with this picture? Not really, says Ryan Newman, the five-timer: "The current system is pretty fair. The only addition I'd make would be to award more qualifying points: five for first, one less for second and so on. Leave it at that."
