Are the Cavaliers one year away from a BCS bowl bid?

Al Groh has never cottoned to excuses: he won't give them, and he sure as hell won't hear them. "Last year we didn't win the championship, and that's what we're here for," Groh says of his Continental Tire Bowl champs. "Now we have to decide if we're a one-year wonder or building one of the strongest teams in the country." First, UVa has to build a better defense. Last year, only North Carolina finished behind the Cavs in total defense in the ACC.
