Seattle pondering options at third

With Jeff Cirillo ready to play again, the Mariners need to make a number of decisions regarding third base.

It's a good thing the Mariners have one of the more power-oriented second basemen in the game, otherwise, their infield would be providing no sock whatsoever. Carlos Guillen at short has yet to slug over .400 in his career, but that is of little concern. What is of concern is that he might post a higher slugging average than first baseman John Olerud this year. Olerud is en route to his worst power year ever.
