Plummer, O-line are keys for Broncos

The standards are high for the Broncos. Mike Shanahan and owner Pat Bowlen aspire to win championships. That hasn't happened since John Elway retired.
Brian Griese took over for Elway but produced only .500 seasons as a starter. Now it's Jake Plummer's turn. The Broncos love Plummer's ability to scramble. Plus, he's a more feisty leader than Griese, who didn't say much more than necessary in the huddle.
