Oakland Athletics: A's phenom Rich Harden may have suffered his first loss in the majors on Sunday, but he discovered something far more important -- his fastball. In Oakland's 5-1 loss to the White Sox, Harden, 3-1 with a 1.69 ERA in five starts, said his fastball was as lively as its been since he arrived on July 16, and that it had the explosion he's used to it having. According to the 21-year-old, that development was a result of some work he has been doing with pitching coach Rick Peterson.
