Rebuilt defense is key for Minnesota

Since last year's training camp, the Minnesota Vikings have completely revamped their linebacking corps and secondary.

Released by the Raiders last summer, Greg Biekert was signed to direct the defense from the middle linebacker positon. Henri Crockett and Chris Claiborne were brought in to add speed at linebacker. Mike Tice signed two new starting cornerbacks -- Denard Walker and Ken Irvin -- and moved cornerback Corey Chavous.
