Denver Broncos: Rookie LB Terry Pierce made quite an impression on Sunday morning, the
team's first practice in full pads, especially on Pro Bowl DL Trevor Pryce.
"Terry looks like [middle linebacker Al Wilson] big-(bleep) little brother,"
Pryce told the Rocky Mountain News. And much like a little brother, Pierce
was forced to carry Wilson's helmet, along with those of other veteran
linebackers, from the practice field.
Philadelphia Eagles: The team remains deadlocked over the terms of the rookie DE Jerome
McDougle's deal. The impasse is the length of the deal. McDougle's agent,
Drew Rosenhaus, wants a five-year deal but the Eagles want to add on a sixth,
and have noted that quite a few first-rounders, including the two players
drafted directly in front of McDougle -- 13th overall pick Ty Warren and 14th
pick Michael Haynes -- have both signed six-year contracts. "I don't think
there's much chance of getting anything done tonight," Rosenhaus told the
Philadelphia Daily News. "We'll resume our conversations [today]."
