Boston Red Sox: College football teams are often
accused of "looking ahead" whenever they lose to a
lesser team prior to facing a powerful opponent the
following week. Can this phenomenon (if it does, in
fact, even exist) be possible in baseball? For the
second time in the past month, the Red Sox play the
last-place Devil Rays just prior to taking on the
first-place Yankees. Michael Silverman talks to
various Red Sox players who dismiss the notion out of
hand.
