Kansa City poised for postseason run

Is there anyone in the sports media who picked the
Royals to win the division? How about to finish in
second place? Third? Hands?....OK. I don't feel so bad
now.
This is not to take anything away from the Royals, but
their improvement this year is not quite as dramatic
as it appears:
2002 expected won-loss record: 67-95
2003 expected won-loss record: 81-81 (projected)
2003 expected won-loss record: 81-81 (projected)
