American League
Boston Red Sox: Kevin Millar did not appreciate Roger Clemens blaming him for nearly getting skulled by one of Clemens' fastballs in Saturday's game against New York. Clemens said that players have forgotten how to get out of the way of pitches. Bob Hohler of the Boston Globe reports that Millar shot back, ''When's the last time he hit?'' 'Ask him why he didn't take the ball [at Shea Stadium] after the last time he hit [Mike] Piazza in the head.''

Kansas City Royals: Let's face it: Jose Lima pitching well is one of the more entertaining sights in baseball. Yesterday, he wanted to le the Tigers know they made a mistake in releasing him and he was at his most Lima-esque. In fact, he had to be calmed down by manager Tony Pena, proving once again, that using the emotion of vengeance is not the best way to succeed in baseball.
