Yankees-Pirates deal in the offing?

There are two things that are no secret in baseball:
1. The Yankees have desired Brian Giles for a long
time.
2. The Yankees are not at all thrilled with the performance of Jeff Weaver. These two seemingly unrelated emotions may well dovetail into one another in the form of a blockbuster trade, writes Dan Graziano of the Newark Star Ledger. It may happen that these two players will be exchanging uniforms at some point in the future.
