The Orlando Magic are no longer wondering when Grant Hill will return to the team, but rather if he will return at all.
Magic General Manager John Gabriel told the Orlando Sentinel it was "likely" that Hill "will never play this coming season." The news comes as yet another blow to Hill's failed comeback attempts.
Gabriel's timing on the issue is interesting. He's doing it now in hopes of landing a $4.8 million disabled player's exception before teams can begin negotiating with free agents on July 1st.
