Anaheim Mighty Ducks: Steve Thomas came within one win of realizing his lifelong dream, and the 39-year-old veteran winger wants one more chance to win the Stanley Cup. The heartbroken Mighty Duck doesn't know where he'll end up after he becomes an unrestricted free agent July 1, however. New Jersey Devils: The New Jersey Nets are using the Devils' home and parking lot, so the Stanley Cup champions are forced to wait to have their traditional victory parade. East Rutherford and Newark are also vying to have the Devils parade through the streets with the Cup. Minnesota Wild: Minnesota Wild GM Doug Risebrough might be tempted to trade one of his goaltenders while so many teams are in need of help in net. Whether that happens this summer depends on whether Manny Fernandez or Dwayne Roloson can prove they can handle the increased pressure of being No. 1 instead of rotating with each other.
