Wisconsin has firepower; USC still loaded

Wisconsin and Michigan State have two of the Big Ten's better offenses, while USC and Washington State face questions in the Pac-10.

KIPER: The offensive line is always a strength at Wisconsin, and even with the loss of the Johnsons that should not change this year. Sophomore Donovan Raiola, younger brother of Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola, will take over at the pivot for the Badgers, while junior Morgan Davis and sophomore Mike Lorenz -- who lined up as a tight end in running situations last year and has plenty of experience -- will step into the tackle spots.

Starting guards Dan Buening and Jonathan Clinkscale are both juniors, and one of the big keys for the UW offense will be how quickly this young line comes together, especially since quarterback Jim Sorgi does not have the mobility that Brooks Bollinger brought to the team last year. Sorgi is 6-4 with a strong arm, though, and he saw extensive playing time behind Bollinger
