Rupp the latest Devils' hero

If we learned one thing from Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, it's that the New Jersey Devils wouldn't be champions without Michael Rupp.
Seriously, though, the Devils' 3-0 Cup-clinching victory Monday night over the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim proved more than ever that New Jersey was the best team in the NHL because it had players such as Rupp taking turns as the hero.
"Throughout the whole playoffs it's been someone else all the time," Rupp told The Washington Times. "... Guys were just stepping up to the plate. When you follow any sport, that's what championship teams do."
