Kansas City Royals: While there are very few examples
of hitters learning to be patient while in the midst
of their major league careers, some do exist. Sammy
Sosa is Exhibit A in this small gallery. Can Mike
Sweeney become Exhibit B? Bob Dutton of the Kansas
City Star reports that Sweeney is focusing his
energies on becoming a more patient hitter and it is
paying off.
