Wagner throws seeds, Millwood takes charge

  • Billy Wagner is throwing as well as I've ever seen him throw. His slider is now 88, and his breaking ball is better than ever. He's more dominant than ever. I saw him throw more fastballs 100 mph or better than anyone I can remember.

  • Kevin Millwood has been dominant. He's one of the true finishers in the National League. Plus, he's a very strong makeup guy who likes to be a staff leader. And for want of another word, it's his pitching staff.
