Boston Red Sox: Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald
reports Pedro Martinez's anticipated return
this weekend will be held off at least until the next
homestand.
Chicago White Sox: It wasn't supposed to be like this
for Joe Crede. This was supposed to be the year he
broke out. Instead, he finds himself battling to keep
his head above water. Already struggling, his last 13
at bats have been even worse: no hits and seven
strikeouts. Teddy Greenstein of the Chicago Tribune
reports on his efforts to get back on the good foot.
