Alou needs to do better for top spot

What's worse than having Neifi Perez in your favorite
team's lineup? How about having him bat leadoff?
That's just where he was Monday night in the absence of
the injured Ray Durham. Dennis Georgatos of the San
Jose Mercury News writes that the Giants might start a
rotation of players at the top of the order and that
manager Felipe Alou wanted to see how Perez worked out
there.
