Senators peaking at the right time

Ottawa's series-clinching 5-1 victory over Philadelphia on Monday night in Game 6 showed what a powerful team the Senators have become as they get better and better as the playoffs go on.
Players and coaches talk about finding an extra gear in the playoffs. The Senators appeared to put it into sixth after Philadelphia's 1-0 victory in Game 4. Already worn down a bit from a tough seven-game series against Toronto in the first round, the Flyers couldn't prevent the Senators from taking over the series after Philadelphia's best effort in Game 4 that tied the series at two games apiece.
"Ottawa came up big in Games 5 and 6," Flyers right winger Mark Recchi told the Philadelphia Inquirer. "They found the energy and we didn't. We couldn't stay with them."
