Too many complaints, not enough compliments

The biggest problem with Shaquille O'Neal is he's too good for his own good ... or ours, for that matter.

Ask NBA fans about Tuesday night's Game 5, in which the Lakers beat the Timberwolves 120-90, and too many of them will say he charged, traveled and camped out in the key before lowering his shoulder and bulldozing his defender out of the way for another dunk.

But hopefully at least some will stop wrestling with synonyms for "most valuable" or "best" or "dominant" long enough to recognize what Shaq is actually doing. Because eventually, some other player is going to lower his shoulder and push his guy back on the way to the hole, and chances are most people still will be making excuses for the guys face down in history and miss the whole thing.
