Sorry, Kansas City, but you know it's true. That blazing start. These young, electric arms. This upbeat manager. While you'd love to think you could be this season's Twins, or maybe even this season's Angels, you know your baseball far too well. You know even bad teams, 100-loss teams, can win nine games in a row, because you saw the Royals do it last July. You know eventually you'll run out of three-game sets with the Tigers and Indians.
