American League New York Yankees: The news is not good for Steve
Karsay. The Yankees were counting on him to be their
number one set-up man this year and it now appears
that he will see no action whatsoever in 2003. A
tossing session had to be aborted yesterday, writes
Tyler Kepner of the New York Times. Following that, he
is set to visit Dr. James Andrews today to get further
examination on his troublesome shoulder.
Texas Rangers: It might seem a bit premature, but
these guys have to watch the Rangers pitching staff
every day -- we don't. Sean Horgan and Ken Daley of the

agent pitchers who will be available come the end of
