Spurs win, but know they must improve

David Robinson sat there in his neatly pressed shirt,
tie and jacket, his lower back or left foot or twisted
knee keeping him out of the second game of the Spurs'
first-round matchup with the Phoenix Suns. San Antonio was already down 1-0 and Game 2 was very
much in doubt.
Kevin Willis had been suspended by the league the day
before for a flagrant foul.
Tony Parker was mired in a 3-of-20 slump and on the
bench for almost the entire fourth quarter.
