Godzilla living charmed life

For almost a year before he finally signed with the New York Yankees as a free agent from Japan, Hideki Matsui's rumored interest in playing in the United States generated a lot of curiosity. Now that he is finally here and actually playing in games, how is he doing?

    Jim: It seems every time Matsui arrives at the plate, he is blessed with multiple players in scoring position. Is there any player so far this year that has had more players in scoring position, or at least on base, than Godzilla? While I accept his hot start is largely due to his ability, his position in the Yankees lineup and continued opportunities have led to a ballooning stat line. Is he what he's hyped to be, or just a product of a devastating lineup?
