The road team has won every game of the Washington-Tampa Bay series and the first team to score has been victorious as well. So if the Lightning score first at home in Game 5 on Friday night, all bets are off.

Now that it's a best-of-3 series, statistics aren't what matter. It's whether the adjustments by each coach can make a difference. Tampa Bay coach John Tortorella looked brilliant after moving Martin St. Louis up to the Lightning's top line with Vincent Lecavalier and Vaclav Prospal. The trio produced seven goals and 10 points in victories in Games 3 and 4.

"When things go well it's always to coach," Capitals head coach Bruce Cassidy said. "When things don't go well then you have to think about things."
