Cowboys staying put with fifth pick

With much speculation about teams out of the top 10 willing to move up and teams in the top 10 willing to move down, the Dallas Cowboys seem content with keeping their pick, the fifth overall.

Owner Jerry Jones said Wednesday he currently has no plans to trade their pick because he wants to snag a potential star to help coach Bill Parcells rebuild a team that has finished 5-11 for three consecutive seasons.

"To earn that pick hurts," Jones told the Dallas Morning News. "You have a chance to get an impact player who can help your team, so unless it was so compelling, I'd be reluctant to do trade."
