Arizona Cardinals
Current Salary Cap Situation: $37.0M under (most in the league)
Unrestricted Free Agents (starters in bold): CB David Barrett, WR David Boston, DE Tom Burke, DT Russell Davis, OT John Fina, LB Rob Frederickson, WR MarTay Jenkins, LB Greg Jones, S Kwamie Lassiter, FB Joel Makovicka, RB Dennis McKinley, QB Jake Plummer, CB Coby Rhinehart, OG Raleigh Roundtree, LB Johnny Rutledge, WR Frank Sanders, DT Barron Tanner
Restricted Free Agents: S Justin Lucas, OG Jason Starkey Possible Veteran Cuts: RB Thomas Jones, TE Freddie Jones First Draft Pick: 6th overall Priorities:
#1 - Completely revamp the passing game. If you paid attention to the above list of unrestricted free agents, you noticed that the Cardinals' starting quarterback and top three wide receivers are all unsigned, and the starting tight end, who was also the team's leading receiver, had such a disappointing year that it wouldn't be surprising to see him tossed to the curb as well. The team has also switched offensive coordinators for the sixth time in the last eight years. Head coach Dave McGinnis is in a win-now situation, but passing attacks need a lot of time for everyone involved to become comfortable with the system and one other. The small ray of hope is offensive coordinator Jerry Sullivan, who worked wonders with wide receiver castoffs like Jason McAddley and Kevin Kasper last season.
