I must admit that the result was a surprise to me. I thought Super Bowl XXXVII was going to be much closer, and a much better game. When writing my mismatches article last week, I was struck at how many of them went in the Bucs' favor, more than I had time or room to write about, but I still thought the Raiders had the more complete team. Instead, we got another Super Bowl blowout with the Raiders making just a fleeting attempt in the fourth quarter to add any kind of excitement to the contest.
