Oakland's Bresnahan is a rising star

SAN DIEGO -- Tampa Bay defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, who has had his unit statistically in the top 10 each of the past six seasons and with a No. 1 ranking in 2002, has gotten plenty of belated attention this week.
"Word is the ankle or foot injury that has (Oakland center Barret) Robbins limping around is a lot worse than Raiders people are letting on. I heard he didn't practice Wednesday, and we'll see how much he can go on Thursday. But keep an eye on that injury. Robbins is a great player, and Oakland can't afford to be without him. If they'd have to go to their No. 2 guy, (Adam) Treu, it would be a comedown. Treu played pretty good for them last season, when Robbins blew out his knee, and missed most of the year. But you put a backup in the Super Bowl, and it might be like blood in the water for (Warren) Sapp. He'd go right after that guy."
