The U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio on Jan. 5 was even bigger than expected -- for the players, coaches and fans. Here are some observations from the practices and game:
Quarterback Chris Leak was, without a doubt, the most talented player on either team -- that was the consensus of both the East and West players and coaches. Rarely do you have players talk about who is No. 1 or No. 2, but it was unanimous for Leak in San Antonio. His passes were sharp and on the money, much more than the other All-Americans.
