  • Redskins head coach Steve Spurrier has clearly been frustrated this season, and the rumors are already starting about him possibly leaving after one season. Spurrier has not received the instant gratification he is used to, and one source close to the team says that rumor — despite Spurrier's claim he is going to honor all five years on his contract — could become reality.

  • The Jaguars may be real proud of their young defensive tackles Marcus Stroud and John Henderson, but the last couple of weeks, they just haven't been doing the job against the run. They've been getting blown out, and that's really been hurting the team.

  • A few months ago, before the Chargers jumped out to a 6-1 start to the season, there were persistent rumors the club was mulling a move to Los Angeles. Well, the way we hear it, their fast start has done nothing to dissuade Chargers ownership from at least considering a move. You just aren't hearing as much about it these days.
