Ragone drops to No. 5

Perhaps the most noticeable change in my new Top 25 is Louisville QB Dave Ragone dropping to No. 5. Ragone has been at No. 2, behind Marshall QB Byron Leftwich, since my Big Board for the 2003 draft debuted last April. Ragone doesn't have a great supporting cast -- he lacks the outstanding wideouts and the offensive line he had last year -- and this has affected his productivity.

Penn State DT Jimmy Kennedy takes the No. 2 spot, rising from No. 5. At 6-foot-4¼ and 335 pounds, Kennedy is exactly what NFL teams are looking for. He's a huge, run-stuffing defensive lineman who also uses his speed and quickness to get to the quarterback. He's the total package.
