Safety Edward Reed has cracked my top 10, moving up to the No. 8 spot this week. Not only is he the MVP of Miami's team, but he is also one of the best cover safeties I have ever seen.
Reed has 21 career interceptions, breaking the Big East and the Miami records held by Bennie Blades. He has been all over the field in big games and deserved to be a Heisman Trophy candidate.
Another player moving up the list to No. 4 is Texas tackle Mike Williams, a 6-foot-6 and 360 pounder who runs like he's 290 pounds. I wanted to position him closer to Miami tackle Bryant McKinnie, my second-ranked player. Both players are top-level tackles.
