Chad Millman's blog
Welcome to the first edition of Chad Millman's blog, which will tide you over with sports betting news and notes between his weekly Behind the Bets columns.
A couple of weeks ago, I passed the big boss who runs Insider in the halls of The Mag. I told her I had so much more to share with Behind The Bets' degenerate followers than a weekly column. My inbox is flooded daily with gambling notes and nuggets that are brilliant. So, I decided, I was going to Twitter.
Her response: "Sure, you can do that. Put them up on Twitter after you blog about them for us."
It was that fast. She barely broke stride, and I had another job. This is how brilliant ideas -- or mediocre blogs dedicated to the betting world -- are born.To keep reading Chad's blog -- including some helpful tips on 'Streak for the Cash' picks right here on this website -- you must be an ESPN Insider.

Chad Millman's Blog
Chad first joined ESPN The Magazine as an editor in 1998. A year later he left to write "The Odds" -- about a trio of Vegas bookmakers and wise guys -- and to find riches working for an Internet company. He made tens of dollars on "The Odds," and the web biz tanked. So he returned to The Mag, where he is now a senior deputy editor. He also worked at Sports Illustrated and wrote some other books, including "Iceman" with Chuck Liddell, "Invincible" with Vince Papale, "Pickup Artists" with Lars Anderson, and "The Detonators."
Millman's weekly Behind the Bets column and daily blog explore the culture of sports gambling.
