As human beings we are entitled to have certain expectations.
For example, the 9:03 New Jersey Transit from Montclair should actually come at 9:03. Everyday. (For that matter, we should expect New Jersey Transit to admit it's a total failure, scrap the whole administration and start over from scratch.)
Or, for example, if you go to Ikea with your wife and kids on a Saturday morning you should expect to get a little "me time" in the afternoon.
