The total of what we know about betting tennis in the United States can fit in a can of Dunlops. Most books in Vegas don't even put up head-to-head match bets for the majors, except Wimbledon. And the Hilton, the one that does it for all the tournaments, including the French Open starting this weekend, doesn't get much action. "I'm doing it to draw people in," says Matt Metcalf, the Hilton bookmaker who manages tennis. "But people aren't used to seeing it. Or even looking for it."
