Wiseguy Sweet 16 breakdown (Part II)

I called Alan Boston on Tuesday afternoon to go over the West and Midwest Sweet 16 games for this week. Only, when we were done, he told me, "It's too bad you didn't ask me about the other games; I feel real strong about some of those."

So, I'm doubling up on Tuesday's efforts in Part I of the wiseguy Sweet 16 bracket and handing out Boston's picks for the East and South regions, too. This portion of the conversation came at the end of our call, when he was standing in front of the spinning room at his gym. It sounded like wind turbines powering the Titanic in the background. So the talk went quick and sounded something like this: "I love West Virginia over Washington, Purdue against Duke, Saint Mary's over Baylor. My biggest bets are Purdue, Saint Mary's, West Virginia, Butler. West Virginia is the most athletic with the best coach. I picked them from the get-go and that is why they will win the whole thing. Injuries have a way of elevating others, and I still feel that West Virginia wins easy."
