Outtakes with Ryan Moore
Chatting with the PGA Tour pro about everything from Tiger to minigolf putters
This interview appears in the April 19 issue of ESPN The Magazine.
KM: You and I are not only both from northwest Washington, we're also both UNLV alums. Of course, you were born about the time I was graduating. You like Vegas?
RM: From the first time I saw the facilities and the home course, I loved it. Being from Washington, going somewhere actually sunny and warm was very appealing.
KM: Yeah, visits to UNLV are captivating. It looks like it's all fun, all the time. Did you end up getting tired of all the Las Vegas stuff? The Strip, and going to the casinos?
RM: I can honestly say I was really focused when I was in school. And I was fortunately also very poor, so I had a normal college experience. I couldn't afford to do Vegas.
