Rotowire: FHL schedule analysis

With all of the talk that surrounds the potent Pacific Division, it seems a lot of the babble gets caught in California ­ lest anyone forget that, as of Sunday, the Dallas Stars were perched atop the tables.

One of the big reasons the Big D is still the big cheese is because the Stars take care of business on the road. The team is surviving a harsh schedule which sees the team play 11 of its first 17 games on the road. Of the first six road affairs, the Stars have five wins ­ including three of a possible four against the aforementioned California teams.
