Despite Washington's loss Thursday night, Robert Griffin III got his fantasy owners off to a great start this week, putting up 27 points (ESPN standard scoring) to lead the pace heading into the weekend.

For the brave souls who elected to pick up and start John Carlson this week -- he's owned in only 0.1 percent of leagues -- you were handsomely rewarded with 15 points on 98 yards and a touchdown from the Notre Dame product.

With Thursday behind us, let's have a look at the greatest hits from the week of fantasy football content at ESPN Insider.

Nick Foles, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

For anyone who had a high waiver wire priority this week -- or lots of FAAB dollars left -- it might have been burned on Chip Kelly's new trigger man. But should it have been? Eric Karabell wrote in "Four Downs" this week that Foles isn't the greatest investment: He isn't assured of being the starter; he's fragile; and he's inconsistent. In fact, for his rankings from here on out, Karabell lists Foles in the No. 20 spot among QBs.
