Week 13 fantasy projections

It's Week 13, which means most fantasy football leagues are down to crunch time. Some owners already have clinched playoff seeds, and others already are eliminated from contention. If you're reading this, odds are that you're in the vast majority who need a win this week in the worst way. I've given you the lowdown on fantasy strengths of schedule the past two weeks, so I can't help anymore in that regard. I can help you with your lineup decisions, though, so let's get down to brass tacks.

Here are the best and worst fantasy matchups for Week 13:

Quarterbacks

Matt Schaub (plus-3 points)

As predicted here several weeks ago, the Houston pass offense has been on fire lately thanks to an easy schedule for much of the past month. In Houston's past five games, Schaub had a horrible outing against the Chicago Bears, but has averaged 27.5 points in the other four games. That hot streak should continue this week against the Tennessee Titans, who rank 29th in pass defense DVOA and 25th in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks.

Josh Freeman (minus-5 points)
