Week 11 Cheat Sheet

Each week, the cheat sheet combs through the choicest Insider fantasy advice to provide owners with last-minute roster advice for the weekend. Here is this week's edition:

Top tips

Alex Smith, Jay Cutler, Michael Vick, Ben Roethlisberger: A trio of concussed passers, plus a freak injury to Big Ben, force their fantasy owners to scramble to add their backups -- Colin Kaepernick, Jason Campbell, Nick Foles and Byron Leftwich, respectively -- or find another option elsewhere. Of the four, Smith seems the most likely to be able to play his Week 11 game, but he's facing Chicago, which is a tough matchup (it generates a minus-3 fantasy point rating from Danny Tuccitto of Football Outsiders' metrics). The same can be said for Cutler or Campbell, whose matchup with San Francisco yields a minus-1 rating. As for the other two, Foles has all but been named the starter for Philly (and has a neutral matchup), while Leftwich will start Sunday night against Baltimore. The Ravens' defense is not the dominant unit it once was, but they allow the sixth fewest fantasy points to opposing QBs.
