Each Monday on ESPN's "NFL Countdown" show, Michael Irvin talks about his top playmakers for the week. So why not do the same in fantasy? Here we go.
• LaMont Jordan, Raiders: Here's a new name for you, though fantasy owners did appreciate Jordan's touchdowns the first six weeks. But in Week 7, Jordan put together a big rushing game and scored three times, making him the top player in fantasy for the week. Jordan, currently the No. 4 RB in fantasy for the season, has scored in all but one game this year, and eight total. That's not bad, though some expected his rushing total to be better. He entered Week 7 averaging only 3.3 yards per carry. Can't complain now, and as Kerry Collins struggles with or without Randy Moss, it's clear Jordan's going to keep getting the ball and scoring.
Eric Karabell breaks down some of the top performers from each fantasy football week.
