FFL: Training Camp Watch
The rookie RBs: When will they report, and how will they fit in? Cedric Benson and Carnell Williams still must earn the right to play often. It won't simply be handed to them. J.J. Arrington must show he can handle the duties of a feature back, and Ronnie Brown has the Ricky Williams circus with which to contend. The preseason will be a time when all four players must take major steps towards earning quality playing time. Holding out will adversely affect the progress of any RB, as they must learn the playbook and more than just carrying the ball.
The Atlanta passing game: Can anyone step up as a reliable target for Michael Vick, other than Alge Crumpler? The Falcons are hoping Michael Jenkins can take a step forward, and rookie Roddy White is confident and has some big-play potential. It will be interesting to see if Vick starts to lock on to someone other than Crumpler, because he needs to.
