Every week in Engel's Angles, I will share my personal selections and picks in ESPN.com's mini-games, plus feature my lineups in prominent expert leagues that I am participating in this season. I'll explain the reasoning behind my choices, in an effort to assist you in making your own decisions or to explain why certain picks may seem risky or unusual.

ENGEL'S ANGLES: Players who I kept from last week are locked in at their current values because I kept them in my lineup. I now sit in second place in my group after scoring 129 points in the first week. I replaced Tom Brady with Carson Palmer, who faces the Browns. He threw five touchdown passes in two games against them last season, and we all saw what Ben Roethlisberger did to Cleveland in the opener. I like Deuce McAllister to rebound this week, but I pulled him out in favor of Peterson, who should be a prime force as the Vikings try to control time of possession against Detroit. Chad Johnson, who should have a big day against Cleveland, replaced Javon Walker. Vernon Davis was quiet in the opener, but I like his price tag right now and put him in for Tony Gonzalez. I do like his chances of catching a scoring pass against the Rams this week. I'll stick with Jeff Reed for now, but I must admit I was tempted to use Green Bay rookie Mason Crosby instead. Pittsburgh's defense should have another good week. Look for the Steelers to terrorize J.P. Losman and Co.
