The "other" rookie standout: While much hype has surrounded Minnesota's Adrian Peterson, Buffalo's Marshawn Lynch is quietly making a reputation for himself as a very dependable fantasy starter. Lynch may not be as a spectacular or explosive as Peterson, but he is a must-start fantasy player when so many other running backs have not been reliable. No matter the matchup, Lynch does not let his fantasy owners down. On Sunday, Lynch faced the Ravens, who have allowed only 71.9 rushing yards per game. They had surrendered only one rushing touchdown entering Sunday. Lynch did not back down from the challenge, though, and rushed for 84 yards and totaled 98 yards from scrimmage. His 1-yard touchdown run in the third quarter gave the Bills a 19-7 lead en route to their second win of the season. Opponents know Lynch is coming, yet he takes on defenders with no fear and battles hard for yardage. When he fights his way to the second level of defenders, Lynch uses good vision and cutback moves to create more running room. Lynch has rushed for four touchdowns in six games so far and has the Jets, Bengals and Dolphins next on his schedule. He has been unspectacular so far, but Lynch has been mostly steady and his value is about to jump. Lynch will not let you down and he should post his best numbers of the season over the next few weeks.
