Fantasy Cheat Sheet: Week 10
A week's worth of advice to help you make your last-minute moves
Week 10 Cheat Sheet
Each week, the cheat sheet combs through the choicest Insider fantasy advice to provide owners with last-minute roster advice for the weekend. Here is this week's edition:
Top Tips
Eli Manning, QB, New York Giants: After fantasy owners were lured into a sense of confidence in Manning through the first five weeks -- when Eli averaged 18.2 points by ESPN standard scoring -- he's put up 32 points in the ensuing four, and eight in the past two. Obviously, if things continue down this path, he's not going to be worth starting in any reasonably configured league. (Leagues with 32 teams, or three active QBs each week, don't apply to this standard). The good news is that KC Joyner believes -- after going through all the detailed metrics -- that the Giants' schedule may have something to do with it: The two recent lackluster contests came against Pittsburgh and Dallas (who have not been kind to opposing QBs), while Eli will go against Washington (Week 13) and New Orleans (Week 14) in weeks ahead.
To read more fantasy advice, including which players you should start and which you should avoid in Week 10, you must be an ESPN Insider.
