Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers: What to do with one of fantasy football's brightest stars from 2011? In the long term, Newton should be fine: Karabell has him as the No. 8 QB in his latest end-of-season rankings. But what about this week, when Newton & Co. take on the Chicago Bears? Might be time to consider other options: Karabell has him No. 17 among QBs in the Week 8 ranks, and Danny Tuccitto of Football Outsiders has the Auburn product with a minus-5 matchup rating. "In addition to their pass defense DVOA ranking, the Bears have also surrendered the fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks." Moreover, their strong ranking in run defense means Newton might not be able to run on them, either.
